I've done some searching on here for some good graphics cards and some research using tools on the boards for displays. I've narrowed it down to what I feel is a good fit and within my budget.I wasn't planning on 4K but it seems that is the way to go for any new builds. The graphics cards I'm between are the MSI - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or the ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 Super Overclocked 8G, there is obviously a price difference there and I'm wondering if the 2070 is overkill. The monitors I'm looking at are:for the main table displayfor the backglassfor the DMDGoing to be going with the (I have one of their arcades and love it). Will be building the PC myself and planning to run Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, Pinball Arcade and Pinball FX3.Thanks for any help in advance!
If you can afford the 2070 Super, you'll be able to play more demanding tables and, if your reference to 4K is any indication, that's where you're heading. There will still be table designs that won't play well even on a 2070 Super as the tech limits are always being pushed forward.Pair it with a speedy i5 or AMD equivalent and at least 16G RAM should give you a very nice result with legs to last awhile. An NVME M.2 drive will make game loading and switching lightening quick but don't break the bank over it.-Ron.
