Duralast Gold or Advance Auto's equivalent (AutoCraft, I think) I've had numerous of each, and they've well out-lived their generally suggested 3 years, here in muti-season SNewEngland.The Gold in my GT is over 10 years old, has been highly abused, and still reads properly when checked with a meter. Probably not going to get those kinds of results, but they're quality enough for me to recommend them no sweat.You wont need to take care of the battery as long as you're attentive to the car and any changes, or lights that show up.Price varies by area, and they'll generally install it free, if they aren't busy and you're willing to be polite and patient.

Pay for the better one no matter where you go. Walmart everstart max, duralast gold, etc. They key is to buy one NOT made by exide (pos batteries that always leak and get corroded).I like DEKA, they make a lot of the batteries in several of the parts stores. Most notably napa legend.Do yourself a big favor and put vaseline on the posts and terminals once installed or if you wanna spend a few bucks dielectric grease.Edit: Exide batteries btw (regardless of labels) will be designed with caps that are flush with the casing.
